Aylesbury Town Council

Description

Aylesbury Town Council represents the needs of the residents of the Parish of Aylesbury Town. The Town Council is responsible for the maintenance and administration of seven allotment sites in the town, the maintenance and administration of the cemetery on Tring Road, the organisation and funding of many different kinds of free events in the town centre and around, and administers the office of the Mayor of Aylesbury. The Town Council also contributes a significant amount of funding towards the roadside and roundabout flower planting, which contributes towards the town's Britain in Bloom entry - this year the town maintained its high standards to be awarded a Silver Gilt Award in the Small City category.

The Town Council has also recently taken on some extra services previously managed by Bucks County Council, including roadside maintenance in the town centre.

The Town Council welcomes feedback from residents and visitors to Aylesbury. Individual Town Councillors details can be found on the Aylesbury Town Council website, or by contacting the office in 5 Church Street, HP20 2QP.
